I'm not sure if my car has one of those lights that comes on when the gas tank is nearly empty. I have never let my car fully run out of gas, but it has definitely gotten pretty low. Is there a way to check if I have one?

No, every car does not have a low fuel light. To check, refer to the owner's manual, or turn the ignition switch on, but do not start the car. All warning lights should light up for a few seconds to show you they are working. The low fuel light, if you have one, should be very close to the fuel gauge.
Reply:nope. i drove a nissan sentra 1992 and it didnt have an oil light either and the sucka blew up one day on the free way..lol
